🍀 Cloverleaf CAN (CCAN) - Cloverleaf Community Action Network🍀
We CAN Rise from Struggle & Overcome Barriers,
We DO Advocate for Community & Recovery.
At Cloverleaf CAN, we believe that community is not defined by geography — it is defined by human unity, compassion, and the nonjudgmental dignity and respect we offer one another.
We are serving the Cloverleaf Community, in the East Houston / Harris County area in the 77015 zip code.
Our mission is simple but profound:
To bring people together and elevate the Cloverleaf community through connection with basic needs, community resources, human connection and overcoming barriers — because together, we CAN create a stronger, more compassionate Cloverleaf community.
Cloverleaf CAN is a nonjudgmental, people-powered, recovery-oriented action network committed to feeding hope, restoring connection, and empowering every neighbor in our community to rise beyond barriers. Whether someone is facing homelessness, economic hardship, unemployment, substance-use or mental-health challenges, suicidal thoughts, or struggles after incarceration, we walk beside them with compassion, dignity, and unwavering support. Rooted in lived experience and trauma-informed care and advocacy, we offer peer support, suicide-prevention resources, resources for access to basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter, and reintegration support for those returning from incarceration. At Cloverleaf CAN, empathy is our foundation, lived experience is our strength, and community is our healing space — a place where every person is seen, valued, and never has to struggle alone.
Through community and peer support services and resources, we CAN share community resources, social connection, shared wisdom. We CAN help one another rise from economic, mental health and substance use challenges, suicidal ideation, homelessness, post incarceration reintegration challenges, and other life struggles. Together, we CAN elevate each other with hope, authenticity, and empowerment — one connection, conversation and resource at a time.

At CCAN, we believe recovery is strongest when we walk it together, with dignity and respect. This community resource has been created to connect people through community resources, peer support, lived experience, community engagement and shared human connection — so no one has to face life’s struggles in isolation.
We are more than our struggles — we are a strong community that rises from challenges and speaks with honesty, compassion, and hope. Through one another’s experiences and stories, encouragement, and resources, we create a safe and voluntary space where hope, dignity, respect, and empowerment guide the way.
Our focus is on providing low- to no-cost resources and supportive connections for those facing:
- Mental health and substance use challenges
- Recovery and relapse struggles
- Housing displacement and homelessness
- Barriers to employment and social reintegration
- Educational needs
- Suicide prevention and related challenges
- Post Incarceration Release Resources
- Barriers to access to Basic Needs resources (Food, clothing, shelter)
Here, lived experience becomes a strength. By sharing our voices and supporting each other, we remind the world that recovery is possible, dignity is essential, and unity is powerful.
We CAN rise together, we CAN overcome barriers, we CAN empower one another as one united community.

Empowerment
In our Cloverleaf community, there is power in our shared HUMAN CONNECTION. By helping one another, sharing community resources and our lived experiences, we give our neighbors and others the dignity and respect they deserve, as well as courage to overcome barriers, find hope, strength, empowerment and recovery in their own lives.
We help our neighbors, and one another, connecting through our lived experiences, with empathy and L❤️VE, as our source of mutual empowerment.
Unite with one another. Greet one another. Be kind to one another. Help one another. Share words of encouragement, hope, empowerment, stories of healing, or simple reminders that no one lives in this community alone, nor walks this path alone. We are all one united community.
.
We are in a diverse world, connected as ONE family through community . "We Are Not Alone." Together, we RISE. Together, we CAN.

Community Awareness
We are elevating community support, knowledge, diversity, lived experiences. We are sharing conversations on recovery, human, racial, immigrant, LGBTQ+, equality , economic and social justice and human rights issues, and access to peer support and community resources.
Speak to one another. Be kind to one another. Hold the door open for one another. Create space for one another. We share more in common, than that which makes us different. Accept each other exactly as and who we are, without judgement. Whenever possible, connect with neighbors and members of our shared Cloverleaf Community. An unknown stranger is a friend yet to be. Share experiences of hope, inspiration and unity in person, face to face with members of the community. When we lift each other up, we rise to new heights and improve the quality of life for ALL of us, ourselves, our families, our loved ones.
