The Heart of Our Community Network

Our Mission

🍀 Mission Statement – Cloverleaf Community Action Network (CCAN)🍀

Cloverleaf CAN exists to bring people together and strengthen the Cloverleaf community through connection, compassion, community resources, and shared humanity. We support our neighbors by linking them with basic needs, vital community resources, peer support, and pathways toward overcoming barriers to promote independence and upward intergenerational mobility, because together, we CAN build a stronger, more united Cloverleaf community.

We understand that growth, healing, independence, recovery, and self-empowerment flourish when we walk the journey together as ONE united community. At CCAN, every person is met with nonjudgment, dignity, respect, empathy, compassion and understanding, and the belief that no one should have to face life’s challenges alone.

Rooted in lived experience and community engagement, CCAN is a place where people connect to resources, to support, and to one another, creating a more compassionate, resilient, and hopeful Cloverleaf for all.

We are a community of diverse people and family that rises from life's challenges, speaking and acting with honesty, compassion, empathy, empowerment and hope. Through one another’s connection and shared lived experiences, including  resources, encouragement, and stories, we create a safe and voluntary community where hope, dignity, respect, empathy and empowerment guide the way, elevating one another to new heights of growth and expansion.

Our focus is on providing  community and peer support resources, low- to no-cost resources and supportive connections for those facing:

  • Mental health and substance use challenges
  • Recovery and relapse struggles
  • Housing displacement and homelessness
  • Barriers to employment and social reintegration
  • Educational needs
  • Workforce training and job placement needs, including resume services
  • Suicide prevention and related challenges
  • Post Incarceration release and reintegration challenges
  • Access to basic needs challenges (Food, clothing, shelter)

Here, community resources and lived experience becomes a strength. By sharing our voices and supporting each other, we remind the world that recovery is possible, dignity is essential, and unity is powerful.

Together, we rise from our struggles. Together, we speak for growth and empowerment.

Our mission is to provide hope and empower individuals to transcend challenges they are experiencing.
Through mindful living, compassion, unity, education, access to employment resources, community resources and authentic human connection, we aim to raise awareness and inspire meaningful change through peaceful, respectful, dignified, mutual, authentic interactions, meeting people where they are, allowing others to find their path to strength, empowerment , independence, growth and recovery by sharing our  lived experiences and insight from a place of voluntary self determination and authenticity in service of others.

We believe we are united through shared lived experiences, community and human connection.
Growth and recovery is possible through community and connection, not isolation. We build supportive relationships  that reduce stigma and loneliness. We are 8 billion people, from 195 countries, but ONE HUMAN FAMILY— connected by shared values of dignity, peace, kindness, love, empathy, compassion, and mutual respect, all shared through our human connection and lived experiences.

Cloverleaf CAN: Cloverleaf Community Action Network CAN connect us all through community, humanity, and as ONE united people elevating and empowering one another through community resources, lived experiences, peer advocacy / support and community engagement.

Humanity knows no borders or barriers. We are stronger when we are together, united as ONE.

Our strength is in our COMPASSION, in our UNITY,  and in our shared HUMAN COMMUNITY!
